Quite a number of years ago, I really started to recognize what commercially produced deodorant was doing to me, so thought there has got to be a better option.

Out came the researcher in me. Reviewing articles of others trying to do the same thing and trying to find something that I could make at home, and I finally had a recipe. This is where Papa aka Michael comes in. Everything I made he would try as well. However, all of the recipes that I was using and trying contained Baking Soda, and after many chapped pits, which lets just say, was not a pretty sight! So back to the drawing board. I would give all my friends tubes of deodorant for them to try and to give me feed back on. So it has been a labor of love, and I am not not done yet. I may tweak my recipe to add some other goodness, and find that did not work so well, as I am always working to make it just that much better.

Then came a little nudge from a friend, "Hey, you like making deodorants, have you ever thought of making soap?" Well now, that awakened in me a whole new very exciting thing to do. Then came another nudge, and yes from the same 'friend', "Now that you are making soap, you need to come to the Art In Motion Market", and well as they say, 'the rest is history'!
